This card is simple and can be made in a variety of ways if you don’t have a Cricut machine. Try pre-cut frames, or you can use other die cut frames such as Spellbinders.
I keep seeing pennant cards everywhere, so I thought I would give one a try My triangle shapes were just made using a punched square cut in half. That made it super easy since I don’t have a triangle-shaped punch.
I also used adhesive jewels and a Smile stamp (one I got from a markdown rack at a craft store). So it’s a super easy card, but really cute for everyday, birthdays, etc. This would also work for a guy’s card, a major bonus because I always have a hard time coming up with guy’s cards!
This is a very simple Thank You Card, but the different placement of the greeting with the ribbon woven underneath sets it off quite nicely.
Because I used pearl paper, I also used a solvent ink (StazOn) so it wouldn’t smear on the slick paper. The ribbon is just a generic 1″ satin white ribbon.
This little tree was made simply by looping ribbon and taping it down with double-sided tape. I used Scor-Tape. It is a bit easier to use than Tacky Tape because you can tear off the amount that you want with your hands instead of needing scissors. (Hahaha…please excuse my lack of dexterity in the video I felt like such a klutz. How come that stuff doesn’t happen when you’re not doing it for anything special?)
Whew, it’s almost too late for a fall card, but I’ll sneak this one in anyway because it was fun We’ve already had snow here and the temperature was -10 last night! So maybe if you have the same weather as we have, this card will warm you up!
Here’s a fast and easy card you can make for all sorts of occasions! I like it because it works not only for Christmas, but also for a man’s birthday card. For me, it’s very difficult to come up with men’s cards. I always like things fluffy & flowery For some reason, guy’s don’t appreciate that so much
