I was playing around with my brads and decided to use copper mini brads to make corner accents for this card. I think maybe if I did it again, I would use micro brads instead of mini brads. But anyway, it still added a neat accent. I did the Owl & Happy Birthday with Copper Perfect Pearls. You can easily change the paper colors on this card and it will work for a guy too!

Here’s an easy card using feather :) It seems like feathers are everywhere you look these days, even in girl’s hair! So this would be a great card to make for your favorite girl, just a note to say hi and brighten her day!

The letters were ones I cut from the Storybook Cricut Cartridge. I cut them at 2″. I also used a bird stamp, two feathers (I cut the top part off some bigger feathers), and a jumbo round tropical brad. Fast & easy :)

This week, we have a fun & easy Valentine’s Day card idea. This is especially fun for kids to take to school, or to give to Daddy, Mommy, Grandma & Grandpa!

I had my kids post with an arm outstretched, then printed the pictures, matted them, and inserted the treats into slits I cut in the paper. I dolled up the valentines with a bow around the lollipops, wrote the greetings with Sakura Glaze Pens, and put some peel-off corners on the edges. Simple, fun, & sure to bring a smile for Valentine’s Day :)

This card is one I made using a Butterfly Pop-Up Punch. Only part of the shape is actually punched, and the rest stays attached to the paper. If you have an intricate shape, like this butterfly, you will want to use a thinner cardstock or maybe just regular scrapbook paper.

The Corners were made with the Southwest Punch and the Happy Birthday was embossed with Red Dragon Embossing Powder. I also added some jewels to the butterfly bodies.

This card is simple and can be made in a variety of ways if you don’t have a Cricut machine. Try pre-cut frames, or you can use other die cut frames such as Spellbinders.

I used gold embossing powder, gold stickles, and gold peel-off stickers for this card. It’s simple & fast!

I keep seeing pennant cards everywhere, so I thought I would give one a try :) My triangle shapes were just made using a punched square cut in half. That made it super easy since I don’t have a triangle-shaped punch.

I also used adhesive jewels and a Smile stamp (one I got from a markdown rack at a craft store). So it’s a super easy card, but really cute for everyday, birthdays, etc. This would also work for a guy’s card, a major bonus because I always have a hard time coming up with guy’s cards!

This is a very simple Thank You Card, but the different placement of the greeting with the ribbon woven underneath sets it off quite nicely.

Because I used pearl paper, I also used a solvent ink (StazOn) so it wouldn’t smear on the slick paper. The ribbon is just a generic 1″ satin white ribbon.

Easel cards are awesome & fun! They look complicated, but with just an extra piece of paper and a folded part, you can make one in minutes!

I used Graphic 45′s Le Romantique paper for this lovely look! My Scor-Pal came in handy to make the scored line perfectly straight, and I used gold mini round brads for the accents.

This cute Happy Birthday card was made using the Inkadinkado Horses Stamp Set and then the wrapped string was so easy after using the Southwest Corner Punch!

With the muted background, this is easily suitable for a man, but try change it up with some bright colors and it will also work well for a lady.
