This little tree was made simply by looping ribbon and taping it down with double-sided tape. I used Scor-Tape. It is a bit easier to use than Tacky Tape because you can tear off the amount that you want with your hands instead of needing scissors. (Hahaha…please excuse my lack of dexterity in the video I felt like such a klutz. How come that stuff doesn’t happen when you’re not doing it for anything special?)
Whew, it’s almost too late for a fall card, but I’ll sneak this one in anyway because it was fun We’ve already had snow here and the temperature was -10 last night! So maybe if you have the same weather as we have, this card will warm you up!
Here’s a fast and easy card you can make for all sorts of occasions! I like it because it works not only for Christmas, but also for a man’s birthday card. For me, it’s very difficult to come up with men’s cards. I always like things fluffy & flowery For some reason, guy’s don’t appreciate that so much
This is a card I made using the Cricut Ornamental Iron Cartridge. If you don’t have a Cricut, try making a window shape out of paper or even flowers. That would be gorgeous!
This is a card I made using Cricut’s Ornamental Iron 2 cartridge. You could use any type of circular die cut and still get the same feel. Think of maybe a scalloped circle or something similar. If you want holes for your ribbon, simply cut a wide slit on each side of the circle.
This is a fast and easy card that you can adapt to any fall holiday! Try adding a leaf, a turkey or whatever you want to the middle and it will work for Thanksgiving, Thanks, Birthday or about anything
I used a Cuttlebug Fleur-de-Lis embossing folder for the front, but you can use whatever you have, perhaps Tim Holtz Texture Fades. I matted the embossed paper on copper cardstock and added a copper ribbon. Seriously, maybe 5 minutes for this whole card start to finish!
Almost every year, I get myself a page-a-day calendar for my desk. That way I can use the backs for scratch paper. If there’s a great picture though, I use them for cards! The calendar I used for the card is Thomas Kincade, so I didn’t throw any of the pictures away.
All I do is trim around the date if it’s written across the picture and then trim the rest of the picture evenly. That gets matted onto cardstock for my card. From there I do a little embellishing with flowers, ribbons and stickles glitter glue to finish it off.
The background for this tag was made with Ranger Reinkers. I couldn’t help but put a few squirts of my home-made glimmer mist on it too Then I finished it off with Tim Holtz’ Urban Chic stamps and Tim Holtz’ Urban Tapestry stamps, some flowers, bling and a small piece of felt die cut ribbon. It was fun & I love the results!
You could easily use this background for cards, scrapbook tags, or even whole scrapbook pages! The tag started off as white. You’d never know it now!
Here we go again Another thing that you can do with Perfect Pearls. These must be one of the most versatile products out there! This week, I will show you how to use Perfect Pearls as a paint. It couldn’t be easier, and I love how it looks!
